Decribed in the latest edition of the ultimate camping bible Cool Camping as the perfect escape in the UK for friends and young families.
A firm favourite with return guests as it is the best of all worlds, located just off the Norfolk coast with four great beaches on your doorstep but also hidden away by the woods so you can really enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
The Hideaway is great for families as it is a really defined camp set in 60 acres of woods and grasslands. Perfect for youngsters to roam free within sight of parents so everyone can relax. On camp you will find an assortment of farm pets such as goats, lambs and chickens to occupy and amuse. The adventure area close to the lodges has an amazing swing tree (for up to 6 to play on) volley/badminton pitch, hammock-huddle, basketball area and double-slide tower. The adjacent woodlands are fantastic to explore with den-making areas, a tree 'snap' activity, parachute picnic-area and best of all the aerial zip wire.
This cosy private camp has five Serengeti lodges (which sleep 6) and two Zambezi lodges (which sleep a families up to 10) so good if you are in a bigger group. In 2018 we introdced a new 'Pamper Pod' with hair-dryers, make up stations and a full range of spa treatments can be pre-booked with a trained therapist.
Located in a wonderful setting and at night the biggest sky you have ever seen. After a few days at the Hideaway you really feel you have escaped from the world.
Local beaches, towns and villages which include Sandringham, Hunstanton, Burnham Market, Holt, Holkham and Brancaster are a short drive away.
You can obtain a 3G signal at the Hideaway with the 3 network (and other compatible operators). All lodges at the Hideaway have automatic electric hurricane lamps - so no stumbling around in the dark!
