WHICH CAMP?

All our private camps are located just a few miles apart on this beautiful part of the North Norfolk coast and wherever you to choose to stay you will be amazed at the beauty of your surroundings. We are just a 3 hour drive from London, Birmigham & Leeds. All camps are close to the coast so beach days will be a must! Adjacent lodges can be arranged for group bookings.

THE HIDEAWAY

The Hideaway, as the name suggests, is really tucked away in a quiet corner of a private estate. It is great if you really want to escape from the world and also have younger children who would like to roam free, play with the animals and in the woods.

The camp is very good for supervision with very defined camp borders so however far your young ones run they are invariably in sight. Around the lodges there is a swing tree , slide area, volleyball, hammock huddle and camp pets. The adjacent woodlands are home to adventure areas, a zip line, parachute camp and lots of den building opportunities.

There is also our new ‘Pamper Pod’ which offers hair dryers, make-up stations and Spa treatments can also be pre-booked. Night skies can be amazing. Everything from the Hideaway involves a car, beaches are within a 15 minute drive.

The Serengeti lodges sleep 6 and the Zambezi sleep up to 10.

THORNHAM BAY

Thornham Bay is our camp which is closest to the beach about a 25 minute walk from the lodges. On site there is Drove Orchards farm shop, Eric’s upmarket fish bar/restaurant, Shucks yurt restaurant and Gurneys fish smoker. In the village, a short walk away you will find Thornham deli bistro and 3 great pubs including “Norfolk’s Dining Pub of the Year”.

There are two sets of four lodges within ‘Home’ camp and one set of three lodges at ‘Top’ camp a short walk away. Each Serengeti lodge sleeps 6 and the site layout is very good if you are coming with other families.

Top Camp lodges are slightly more spacious on platform decks and have some additional enhancements including larger kitchens and ranges, fridges, phone charge points, hair-dryers and electric blankets during cooler periods.. Top Camp lodges can only be requested at the time of booking but not for weekend or 7 day stays outside of the school holidays a £20 per night supplement will be charged.

The site map is an illustration and not to scale so please refer to our camp description for distances and amenities. The Hideaway camp is located 3 miles away as the crow flies

It’s a great place if you want a quiet beautiful setting but also be able to walk out to places with lots to see and do on the Norfolk coast.
