Dog friendly glamping at our two camps in pet-friendly Norfolk. Explore Beaches, woodlands and the occasional bone.

Norfolk is deservedly top of the list for many dog lovers being a particularly pet-friendly dog holiday destination. You won’t have to leave your dog at home as four-legged friends are very much part of the landscape. There’s nothing like a dog friendly beach: the sheer look of joy on your dog’s face as they tear off across the sand is worth travelling practically anywhere! Dog friendly beaches can be found closeby at Old Hunstanton, Holme, Brancaster and Holkham. Back at camp the woodlands and parklands are great places to go walkies.

We welcome up to two dogs per lodge which is great for walks, woodlands and being around camp. Our camps are located within easy reach of dog-friendly beaches, walks and pubs, so you’ll be able to do all the things you were planning to do anyway and your dog will be able to come along for the ride!

Please note that we do not accept dogs during the month of August.

Many of the Norfolk pubs and cafes in this area are very welcoming to well-behaved dogs, allowing you to enjoy regular excursions on your pet friendly holiday. Most tourist attractions from country parks to steam railways, allow dogs on a lead. At The Orange Tree in Thornham the local menu is complimented by a full ‘Canine Cuisine’ menu full of delicious meals! Who’s for a doggie bag? Your pet will also get a warm welcome at the Rose and Crown Snetttisham.

The Hideaway is a short walk from the Peddars Way ancient trail. An old Roman marching route that goes from Thetford and joins the Coastal path at Holme. A short drive away there is Sandringham Country Park by the Queen’s country home. This woodland escape offers picnic areas, miles of walks and more.  Thornham Bay is our camp down on the Coast and close to the coastal path and Holme Dunes beach.

For the more adventurous hound, dogs are more than welcome on the seal trip boats that head out to the Blakeney Point area, and this is a must visit day out for you too especially in November and December, when the seal pups are around.

Dogs cannot roam free throughout the camp and must be on leads or long tethered when not in your lodge. It is vital you let us know at time of booking so that we can allocate you the most appropriate lodge when you arrive. *We accept pets except for any stay except holidays commencing within the month of August.
